In the words of Tim the Enchanter (Monty Python and the Holy Grail), in today's spooky segment, this is 'no ordinary rabbit'.

In fact, it could be argued that this 'rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!'

The Phantom Rabbit of Thetford Warren Lodge.

Before you begin, Andy, sorry to interrupt, but I have to tell you that the entire premise of this story is giving me... Monty Python and the Holy Grail vibes. Carry on.

Right. Now, Thetford Warren Lodge was built around the 1400s, on land used to rear and hunt small game. It accommodated warreners and hunting parties, and importantly was a defensive lodge to repel potentachers from the land.

Nowadays, the stories tell of a huge, ghostly white rabbit with flaming red eyes, which guards the doorway to the lodge and is an omen of death to anyone who lays eyes on it.

My God.

I know.

Crikey, we've actually been there, haven't we?

We have.

Yeah, luckily, we didn't see the Phantom rabbit but you can go too, and we actually included in our 10 Free Things To Do in Norfolk blog.

Luckily enough.

Just sending you all into the path of a huge ghostly white rabbit with flaming red eyes - as Andrew says. Enjoy.
